Information and Representation
The Australian Pakistani Business Council seeks to keep members informed on the current economic and political developments in both countries which affect trade and business relations. The Council will provide a forum for members where they could discuss various aspects of their businesses, opinions and concerns and to provide representation where appropriate to other business organizations and associations and to all levels of government.
Networking Functions
The Council will organize regular functions for the benefit of members. These functions will consist of Guest Speaker Luncheons, Conferences, Seminars, Forums, and Workshops with professional speakers on matters of current interest.
Trade Missions
The Council will also promote and organize Trade Missions to Pakistan and Australia.
Newsletters
An informative newsletter will be issued on a regular basis notifying upcoming events, trade developments and other relevant information.
Trade Enquiries
The Council will act as a clearing house for trade and investment opportunities by connecting appropriate parties.
Access to Experts
A panel of experienced business people is available to provide advice and assistance both in Australia and Pakistan.
Tourism
The Council seeks to promote tourism between both countries. Special travel packages will be available to members visiting Pakistan or Australia including airfares, accommodation and vehicle hire.
Conferences, Seminars, Forums and Workshops
APBC will conduct these important events as to keep the members informed about the current trends in the business sector and also about the changes in business regulatory processes required by governments. Members will also be invited to participate in the APBC supporting business skills development program. The APBC conference is a once a year event where members have the opportunity to meet and hear the leaders of industry, government, education and other business organizations and networks.
Sport and Recreation Activities
Great opportunity for the members and their families to have quality time to gather in variety of sport and recreation activities. Sport events will include Cricket, Golf, Soccer and Tennis. The activities will be subject to weather and conditions. APBC will also seek discounted tickets for it members for international games.
Business Delegations
The Council will facilitate Business Delegations between Australia and Pakistan for the improvement of Bilateral Relationship.
Businesswomen’s Networking
The Council will provide networking opportunities for women and also to provide them with the expertise to enhance their businesses. The network will encourage women to participate in supporting business skills development programs which includes mentoring, networking, advisory services and market development (including export opportunities).
Guest Speaker Program
The Council will also conduct a Guest Speaker Program throughout the year. Various topics such as Business Networking, Real Estate Development, International Trade, Investment Opportunities, Information Technology, Media and Communication, Economic Development, Consulting and Management Training. The APBC will invite speakers from government and other agencies, professional organizations, business organizations and networks, community organizations, corporate leaders and strategists.
